I was thoroughly happy to have spotted these in Selfridges bakery counter, they’re a little longer lasting than my usual fresh picks so I was able to buy in advance for todays #fatfriday. Also, I have been lacking in tea dunkable treats, and although probably not designed to get dunked, I couldn’t resist the idea of melting marshmallow in my tea.
Naughty yummy treat: S’mores 2 pack.
Portion size: Like a giant biscuit.
Sickliness: No sickliness to be reported here.
Moistness: Optimum moistness when dipped in my cuppa.
Notes: These s’mores are very yummy indeed. Even though I had no campfire to hand (which I am sure if toasted over would make them gooey and glorious), I did have my cup of tea, and when dipped in they really were very nice. The chocolate and marshmallow melted down agreeably, however, things got pretty messy when the graham crackers disintegrated slightly and the debris started plopping in my tea. Regardless, they’re still just as tasty in their original non-soggy form. They actually kind of reminded me of Tunnock’s Teacakes, just with more biscuit and much larger in size (I’ll obviously need to buy a pack now to compare fairly).
